OPSS warns over baby side-sleeper wedge listing removed from Amazon
A UK product-safety report classifies a baby side-sleeper wedge sold via Amazon as a serious suffocation risk in an infant sleep space.
What the primary source says
The Office for Product Safety and Standards published its report on 21 September 2026 for a Baby Side Sleeper Wedge sold via Amazon (ASIN B0DZMWYX28). OPSS says the product presents a serious risk of suffocation when used in a baby's sleep space and does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. Amazon removed the listing.
The report notes conflicting age information on the product packaging and listing. Owners should stop using the wedge immediately, keep it out of children's reach and contact the distributor for redress. This is a UK product-safety report and listing removal, not evidence of a wider international recall.
Why it matters
The useful distinction
A marketplace removal can leave buyers with a product at home. Checking the model and acting on the regulator's instructions matters even after a listing disappears.
