FIDLOCK dry bags recalled in Australia after defect can release magnets
The recall concerns petrol-blue HERMETIC Medi bags, lot 2409140930201, sold nationally and online.
What the primary source says
Australia's product-safety regulator published a recall of FIDLOCK HERMETIC Medi dry bags on 21 September 2026. A manufacturing defect can separate the sealing strips from the bag and release high-powered magnets, creating choking and serious internal-injury risks if swallowed.
Affected bags have petrol-blue sealing strips and lot number 2409140930201. They were sold from December 2024 to September 2026. Owners should stop using affected bags, keep them away from children and follow the official notice's destruction, photograph and return instructions for a replacement or refund.

Why it matters
The useful distinction
The hazard concerns magnets released from an everyday accessory sold online, rather than a toy. This notice covers Australia; recall coverage in other countries has not been established.
