OPSS rejects Amdelne linking light over exposed live parts

OPSS reports a serious electric-shock risk in an Amdelne linking light; the import was rejected and destroyed.

What the primary source says

OPSS published report 2609-0076 on 21 September 2026 for Amdelne Tri-Proof Light LQ2-120W3660YN, batch TG2026-04. Removing a connector cover to link lights exposes mains-voltage live and neutral pins. The report also identifies a counterfeit fuse that may fail to protect against faults.

Other identifiers are Q052, RV913258-260420-0014 1LO013269, 913258-06-4LQ03002WG and SP13309-20260420. The notified action is rejection at the UK border and destruction. The notice does not set out a consumer recall remedy.

Why it matters

The useful distinction

Connector design and fuse protection matter alongside the light itself; retain exact identifiers when checking a product.
