Safety Gate records recall of Amazon-listed Muzammill magnetic chess game in Ireland

Safety Gate now records a retailer recall for the Muzammill game previously covered by a CCPC information notice. The exact batch and ASIN match.

What the primary source says

Safety Gate’s Irish alert SR/02763/26, published on 1 October, records a retailer recall from end users of the Muzammill Sher Limited Magnetic Chess Game.

It identifies batch 271125, model LA-C01, barcode 789557304372 and Amazon ASIN B0G5TV3WZP. The alert reports small high-powered magnets that can cause choking or attract one another inside the body if swallowed, causing blockage or perforation.

This updates the earlier CCPC information-notice coverage of the same product. Safety Gate records a recall but supplies neither an effective recall date nor a refund procedure. Buyers should quote the batch and ASIN when contacting the retailer about the recorded action.

This concerns Ireland; no UK recall is established.

Why it matters

The useful distinction

The batch, model, barcode and ASIN allow a precise listing check. High-powered magnets can cause serious internal injury when more than one is swallowed, so the distinction between a safety notice and a recall should not dilute the immediate stop-use advice.

Scope note
