Hahaland baby tissue-box toy removed from Amazon after strangulation finding

OPSS found two overlong cords in the PL002H toy, rejected its import and reported removal of the Amazon listing.

What the primary source says

OPSS says the hahaland Baby Tissue Box Toy presents a serious strangulation risk because it has two cords longer than permitted. The notice identifies model/SKU PL002H, Amazon ASINs B0BZVPPQM7 and B0CJLWD1VM, and product identifiers X001RIDUG5 and FBA15LV12V67U000006 for cartons 5–8.

The consignment was rejected at the border and the Amazon listing removed. This is a regulator safety report, not an announced consumer recall. OPSS nevertheless advises owners to stop using the toy, keep it away from children and contact the retailer for a repair, replacement or refund.

Why it matters

The useful distinction

Product and listing identifiers help carers check whether they have the specific toy examined.
