CHILLZ ice-bath chlorine tablets recalled over incorrect dosing instructions

A UK recall covers batch 20260105-01 of CHILLZ tablets sold through Amazon after incorrect dosing instructions were found.

What the primary source says

OPSS has reported a recall of CHILLZ Crystal Clear Chlorine Tablets for ice baths. Batch 20260105-01, barcode X002C0RT49, carries incorrect dosing instructions. Using three tablets instead of one may cause skin reactions, particularly for sensitive skin or prolonged bathing.

JP Wessex Ltd has withdrawn the product and recalled it from end users. Customers whose label says “3 tablets for 600ml” should stop using it and contact the supplier for a refund or replacement. OPSS says affected customers have been contacted. The notice applies to the identified batch, not every ice-bath treatment.

Why it matters

The useful distinction

Check the batch and label before using a chemical treatment bought online.
