INMO AIR3 smart glasses recalled over overheating burn risk
The joint US–Canada recall covers INMO AIR3 smart glasses whose left temple can overheat. Consumers should stop using them and contact INMO for the free repair, including firmware update V3.16.
What the primary source says
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced recall 26-797 on 24 September 2026 for black INMO AIR3 smart glasses, model AIR3. The INMO and AIR3 markings appear inside the right temple. The left temple can overheat during extended use, creating a burn hazard.
The joint US–Canada recall lists 1,643 units sold in the United States and 120 in Canada. CPSC reports 10 overheating incidents, including burning sensations on the face and left ear. Its notice does not classify those sensations as a separate injury total.
Consumers should stop using the glasses immediately and contact INMO for the free repair. The firm will assist with the online software update V3.16. This notice covers the United States and Canada; it does not establish a UK recall.

Why it matters
The useful distinction
A wearable device can heat against the face and ear. Checking the exact model and completing the authorised repair is more useful than treating every smart-glasses listing as recalled.
This briefing is an independent summary of the evidence sources below. Context-only links are not used as factual authority. It does not establish that a product, organisation or listing is unsafe, unlawful or non-compliant beyond what the evidence reports.
