Kesyup mattresses recalled over fire hazard and flammability standard breach

CPSC recalled Kesyup mattresses sold online because they violate the mandatory mattress flammability standard.

What the primary source says

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of Kesyup-branded mattresses on 24 September 2026. The 12-inch mattresses were sold in twin, full, queen and king sizes, with a white top, blue sides and blue trim; the sewn-in label shows prototype ID <PU-US>. The mattresses violate the mandatory flammability standard and pose a serious fire injury risk.

About 48,405 mattresses were sold on Amazon from December 2024 through April 2026 for between $100 and $200. Consumers should stop using them, contact ZCK01 for a full refund, mark the mattress as recalled as instructed and follow local disposal procedures. CPSC reported no incidents or injuries. This US recall is not evidence of a UK recall.

Why it matters

The useful distinction

Mattresses bought through online marketplaces can be covered by mandatory flammability rules even when no injury has yet been reported.
