Aitjunz eight-drawer dressers recalled over tip-over and entrapment risks
CPSC recalled Aitjunz eight-drawer dressers sold through Amazon, Wayfair, Temu and Walmart because they can tip over if not anchored.
What the primary source says
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of Aitjunz eight-drawer dressers on 24 September 2026. The wooden dressers were sold in black, white, brown, oak and cream; packaging carries one of the affected SKUs LDQMFJ8D-BR, LDQMFJ8D-CM, LDQMFJ8D-WH, LDQMFJ8D-BK or LDQMFJ8D-NA. The dressers are unstable if not anchored and violate mandatory clothing-storage safety standards under the STURDY Act.
About 25,073 were sold through Amazon, Wayfair, Temu and Walmart from May 2025 through July 2026 for $230 to $270. CPSC received one tip-over report and no injury reports. Consumers should stop using an unanchored dresser, keep children away and contact the supplier for a free retrofit kit with counterweight blocks. This US recall is not evidence of a UK recall.
Why it matters
The useful distinction
Large furniture bought online needs anchoring and model checks; a recall can apply even where no injury has been reported.
