CPSC warns against FOTING pressure washers sold across online marketplaces

A US safety warning says FOTING pressure washers lack required immersion protection and an adequate-length power cord, creating shock and electrocution risks.

What the primary source says

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a product safety warning on 24 September 2026 for FOTING pressure washers. Models shown in the notice include KLC-PRO150C, KLC-T3 and KLC-T2. The machines lack an integrated ground-fault circuit-interrupter near the plug and an adequate-length power cord, creating a risk of serious injury or death from shock or electrocution.

CPSC says the supplier has not agreed to an acceptable recall. The products were sold through Amazon, Walmart, TikTok, Temu, Wayfair and eBay for about $85 to $266. The regulator says consumers should stop using them, unplug them, cut the power cord and dispose of them safely; they should not be sold or given away. CPSC recorded one missing-GFCI report and six reports about cord length, with no injuries reported.

Why it matters

The useful distinction

A regulator warning can require immediate consumer action even when a formal recall has not been agreed, particularly for electrical products sold through several marketplaces.
